Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the person carrying on the business of a pawnbroker shall apply to the State Government in Form I for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the State Government shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
