Clause 2, West Bengal Panchayat (Market Control) Order, 2024 [S9V-ZCV]

Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the West Bengal Panchayat Act, 1973 (West Bengal Act 41 of 1973); (b) "owner of a cattle pound" means a person carrying on the keeping of a cattle pound; (c) "muster roll" means a muster roll received, held or disposed of by a owner of a cattle pound in the course of the keeping of a cattle pound; (d) "Form 8" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
