Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the transporter of minerals shall apply to the Regional Controller of Mines in Form A for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees, and the Regional Controller of Mines shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within sixty days of the application.
