Clause 2, Kerala Headload Workers (Contribution Control) Order, 2023 [S9V-KMV]

Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Kerala Headload Workers Act, 1978 (Kerala Act 20 of 1978); (b) "self-employed person" means a person carrying on the carrying on of a self-employed occupation; (c) "medical certificate" means a medical certificate received, held or disposed of by a self-employed person in the course of the carrying on of a self-employed occupation; (d) "Form 16" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
