Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the mine surveyor shall apply to the Mining Tribunal in Form K for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Mining Tribunal shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and eighty days of the application.
