Safe custody.—Every air transport undertaking shall keep every certificate of airworthiness to which these rules apply in a receptacle or place reserved for the purpose at the premises where the carriage of passengers by air is carried on, shall record in Form CA-3 the description of every certificate of airworthiness so kept and the date on which it was received, and shall furnish a copy of the record to the Appellate Tribunal within forty-five days of the close of each year.
