Application for registration.—Every holder of an advance authorisation carrying on the import of inputs under an advance authorisation shall make an application for registration to the Development Commissioner in Form ANF-2A, within one hundred and eighty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees and a statement of every foreign exchange held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for seven days from that date.
