Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the publisher of news on a digital platform shall apply to the Press Registrar in Form VII for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Press Registrar shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
