Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the keeper of a hotel shall apply to the Director General in Form V for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Director General shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
