Surrender of certificate.—Every person residing in a prohibited area who ceases to carry on residence in a prohibited area shall, within seven days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Cantonment Board in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form D of the manner in which every permit held by him has been disposed of.
