Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the operator of a vehicle carrying hazardous substances shall apply to the Central Board in Form V for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Central Board shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and eighty days of the application.
