Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any person employed in a defence installation dies, his legal representative shall, within three days of the death, intimate the death to the Commanding Officer of the Unit in Form C, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every defence work then held; and the Commanding Officer of the Unit shall enter the intimation in the register within twenty-one days of its receipt.
