Application for registration.—Every owner of a goods carriage carrying on the carriage of goods for hire shall make an application for registration to the State Transport Authority in Form 29, within seven days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees and a statement of every trip sheet held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for sixty days from that date.
