Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the dormant company shall apply to the Registrar of Companies in Form CHG-1 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees, and the Registrar of Companies shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
