Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the occupier shall apply to the Divisional Forest Officer in Form V for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees, and the Divisional Forest Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
