Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the insurance agent shall apply to the Tariff Advisory Committee in Form IRDA-6 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees, and the Tariff Advisory Committee shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within twenty-one days of the application.
