Clause 2, Odisha Survey and Settlement (Record of rights Control) Order, 2018 [S9J-CXR]

Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Odisha Survey and Settlement Act, 1959 (Odisha Act 3 of 1959); (b) "grazier on Government waste land" means a person carrying on the grazing of cattle on Government waste land; (c) "survey number" means a survey number received, held or disposed of by a grazier on Government waste land in the course of the grazing of cattle on Government waste land; (d) "Form 5" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
