Application for registration.—Every patentee carrying on the working of a patent shall make an application for registration to the Registrar of Copyrights in Form 18, within forty-five days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of one thousand six hundred rupees and a statement of every register of patents held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for three hundred and sixty-five days from that date.
