Surrender of certificate.—Every authorised collection centre who ceases to carry on the collection of stamp duty shall, within thirty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the District Registrar in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form D of the manner in which every certificate of stamp duty held by him has been disposed of.
