Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the Lokayukta in the custody of the Assistant Public Information Officer, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the Lokayukta; and where the Assistant Public Information Officer having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form A within sixty days of the succession.
