Application for registration.—Every insurance intermediary carrying on the business of an insurance intermediary shall make an application for registration to the Securities Appellate Tribunal in Form IRDA-8, within forty-five days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees and a statement of every register of policies held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for seven days from that date.
