Safe custody.—Every contractor engaged in a mine shall keep every sample of ore to which these rules apply in a receptacle or place reserved for the purpose at the premises where the execution of work in a mine is carried on, shall record in Form G the description of every sample of ore so kept and the date on which it was received, and shall furnish a copy of the record to the District Mineral Foundation within one hundred and twenty days of the close of each year.
