Application for registration.—Every contractor engaged in a mine carrying on the execution of work in a mine shall make an application for registration to the District Mineral Foundation in Form J, within fifteen days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees and a statement of every transit pass held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for three hundred and sixty-five days from that date.
