Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the occupier shall apply to the Chief Inspector in Form II for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Chief Inspector shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ten days of the application.
