Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any occupier dies, his legal representative shall, within sixty days of the death, intimate the death to the Chief Inspector in Form VIII, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every certificate of registration then held; and the Chief Inspector shall enter the intimation in the register within forty-five days of its receipt.
