Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the keeper of a dharamshala shall apply to the Registrar of Societies in Form D for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Registrar of Societies shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
