Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the hawker of food shall apply to the Registering Authority in Form C for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Registering Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fourteen days of the application.
