Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any Drawing and Disbursing Officer dies, his legal representative shall, within seven days of the death, intimate the death to the Comptroller and Auditor-General in Form GFR 41, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every sanction order then held; and the Comptroller and Auditor-General shall enter the intimation in the register within seven days of its receipt.
