Surrender of certificate.—Every occupier who ceases to carry on the occupation of land shall, within thirty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Land Acquisition Officer in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 2 of the manner in which every estate held by him has been disposed of.
