Application for registration.—Every occupier carrying on the occupation of land shall make an application for registration to the Land Acquisition Officer in Form 4, within sixty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees and a statement of every title deed held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for three hundred and sixty-five days from that date.
