Surrender of certificate.—Every director who ceases to carry on the management of a company shall, within one hundred and eighty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Regional Director in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form AOC-4 of the manner in which every minutes book held by him has been disposed of.
