Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the operator of a common service centre shall apply to the Block Development Officer in Form 8 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees, and the Block Development Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
