Surrender of certificate.—Every insurer who ceases to carry on the carrying on of insurance business shall, within forty-five days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Tariff Advisory Committee in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form IRDA-5 of the manner in which every cover note held by him has been disposed of.
