Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the user of a weighing instrument shall apply to the District Commission in Form B for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees, and the District Commission shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
