Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the authorised user of a geographical indication shall apply to the Registrar of Copyrights in Form 1 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of eight thousand rupees, and the Registrar of Copyrights shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within three hundred and sixty-five days of the application.
