Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the operator of a slaughter house shall apply to the Licensing Authority in Form D for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of three thousand rupees, and the Licensing Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fourteen days of the application.
