Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any occupant of public premises dies, his legal representative shall, within forty-five days of the death, intimate the death to the District Registrar in Form 4, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every estate then held; and the District Registrar shall enter the intimation in the register within three hundred and sixty-five days of its receipt.
