Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any contractor engaged by a Panchayat dies, his legal representative shall, within thirty days of the death, intimate the death to the Gram Sabha in Form 8, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every building then held; and the Gram Sabha shall enter the intimation in the register within forty-five days of its receipt.
