Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the holder of a mining lease shall apply to the District Mineral Foundation in Form A for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees, and the District Mineral Foundation shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and eighty days of the application.
