Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the keeper of a commercial establishment shall apply to the Licensing Officer in Form VIII for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees, and the Licensing Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
