Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the company secretary in practice shall apply to the Regional Director in Form ADT-1 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Regional Director shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within sixty days of the application.
