Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the Government of Kerala in the custody of the Motor Vehicles Inspector, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the Government of Kerala; and where the Motor Vehicles Inspector having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form 29 within thirty days of the succession.
