Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the passenger shall apply to the Chief Commissioner of Railway Safety in Form G for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Chief Commissioner of Railway Safety shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
