Application for registration.—Every overseas citizen of India carrying on the holding of an overseas citizen of India card shall make an application for registration to the civil authority in Form A, within one hundred and eighty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of one thousand five hundred rupees and a statement of every residential permit held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for fourteen days from that date.
