Surrender of certificate.—Every owner of a motor transport undertaking who ceases to carry on the running of a motor transport undertaking shall, within ten days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the appropriate Government in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form VII of the manner in which every register held by him has been disposed of.
