Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the charitable institution shall apply to the Joint Commissioner in Form 26AS for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees, and the Joint Commissioner shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
