Application for registration.—Every developer carrying on the development of a Special Economic Zone shall make an application for registration to the Export Promotion Council in Form SEZ-1, within one hundred and twenty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees and a statement of every importer-exporter code held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for one hundred and eighty days from that date.
