Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the Housing Board in the custody of the Inspecting Officer, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the Housing Board; and where the Inspecting Officer having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form D within one hundred and twenty days of the succession.
