Application for registration.—Every contractor for canal works carrying on the execution of canal works shall make an application for registration to the Irrigation Authority in Form D, within seven days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees and a statement of every reservoir held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for fifteen days from that date.
