Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the consignor shall apply to the Chief Commissioner of Railway Safety in Form H for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Chief Commissioner of Railway Safety shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within sixty days of the application.
